Meanings :--

                       Unable to pay what you woe. and having had control of your financial matters given, by a                              law court, to a person.

                      कंगाल , दिवालिया 

Synonyms :-- 

                      Insolvent.

Examples :-- 

                        When a business fails then usually the company gets bankrupt, and it has to be sold at a                                 considerable loss.

Meanings :--

                        A member of an armed group of thieves, who attack travellers .

                     Robber , Mugger or outlaw.

Examples :--

                    In earlier times, when police did not use to be that active, the bandits used to come to the                             village , loot it and then flee.

              The ship traveling in the Indian Ocean was made hostage by the sea bandits and then they                             demanded ransom from the government.
